TWIN LAKES EXPEDITION

Managing Director Graeme Shepherd, and General Manager Alex Hung had long promised each other that they would undertake an adventure together, and this came to pass with a two day climb over the dormant and lake filled volcanoes of the southern part of the Island of Negros in The Philippines.

The first day lulled them into a false sense of security with a boat, motor cycle, and canoe journey across one of the major lakes. Camping out under the foot of the first rain forest capped peak the night before, nothing could have prepared them for the trek that was to be taken that day! Graeme was brought to his final physical, and near mental limit, and frankly would not have made the continuous seven hours of dangerous small and slippery rain forest paths, with drops sheer down hundreds of metres, without the incredible support of Alex to spurr him on. A truly memorable mission, and one that has without doubt strengthened a friendship!
